The clutch is used to transmit the torque stored on the engine flywheel to the gearbox to ensure that the vehicle transmits an appropriate amount of driving force and torque to the driving wheels under different driving conditions. It belongs to the category of powertrain. When the clutch is semi-linked, the power input end and the power output end of the clutch are allowed to have a rotational speed difference, that is, a proper amount of power can be transmitted through the rotational speed difference.
In short, the clutch uses "off" and "on" states to transmit power to the transmission. The clutch plate torque is transmitted to the driven plate through friction between the flywheel and the contact surface.
